Want MONSTER POWER out of your D-series? Hit up Bisi he is so sick with the “one cammer jammers”. Just thought I would show off one of his latest project builds, although I’m sure most of you reading this have seen the car before. This wagovan is nasty built just check the specs, it should be making well over 400hp to the wheels roughly (as if its not that much!). You need a motor built? Or any questions answered about your build? hit up www.bisimoto.com they have all the answers you need and can also dyno tune your ride for you. Check out socalcivic.com (yeah that’s right I’m actually advertising for a…honda…forum..lol jk) for the entire build up. Thanks for reading and we’ll see you next week from Spec D Tuning have a great weekend!

How about some Extreme Trucks?

July 27, 2010 1 comment

Ok so I know Ive done a lot of posts about slammed cars or cars with fitment, but lets not forget about the crazy trucks bruising around out there, I am all for the lowered cars but when you lift a truck more than 10″‘s off the ground and slap some 44′s on there it doesn’t look too bad either, I know they look like beasts that don’t move anywhere but in reality I know that yellow Excursion runs 10′s down the 1/4 mile, Ive seen it done black smoke shooting out the exhaust and turbo spooling for days, so don’t think if you pull up next to one of these bad boys in your ride that you will automatically beat them horsepower is just a button click away for most of these enthusiasts. Anyway just wanted to showoff a little lifted truck “steez” today, hope you guys enjoy the pics and until next time, have a great day from Spec D Tuning.

Sorry had to post this gem up before the day ended, thanks SpeedHunters for the great snaps and coverage of the Evergreen Drift event. Until next time! Have a great weekend again from Spec D Tuning. Mis Matched Goodness.

Now I know most people out there want their one desired set of wheels on their car, but what about the people that cant decide? The people that have 2 sets of favorite wheels? Well if you can’t decide you might as well run both I say, I personally love the look of mis matched wheels ONLY if the wheels are right, the fitment is right and the tire size is right. Half the time you cannot even tell from the back or the front if the wheels are deep enough, but like in the first pic 2 completely different colors will be hella obvious, still looks pretty good though also taking into consideration that the wheels are the same model just different colors. Anyways just thought i would throw out my 2cents about mis matched wheels, feel free to leave some comments on what you think, and I will see you guys next week have a great weekend from Spec D! And remember KEEP IT STEEZED OUT!

Yoshiki’s HARD!@$$ Hardbody Nissan

July 16, 2010 5 comments

Uhhhhhhh!!! What you know about that sideways action with this nasty pickup?! So I’m sure some of you are like “Oh its just a Nissan it probably just has a SR20 in it..” WRONG! this badboy from Garage Miniz is packing RB power under the hood, I believe running around somewhere between 360-420ps to the wheels that is pretty decent considering the truck does not weigh as much as a Skyline. Anyways its one thing to see this truck slammed on the floor and its another when you see a RB stuffed under the hood but its a ENTIRELY different thing when you see this truck getting sideways and lighting up the tires nice and smokey. Enjoy the pictures  and thank you Yoshiki from Garage Miniz for expanding our imagination even further with the Nissan lineage. I LOVE Toyota’s but seeing this truck makes me miss my S13 =[.

PIKACHU TAIL ON A EF?

Ok to start off this is not your average “kyusha” or “shakotan/bosozoku” style car, but I have to say h has got the right idea with the wheel fitment and the choice of wheels. For those that don’t know the wheels are SSR MKII with a decent low offset to fit this Honda right. Dig the “super hero cape” license plate, originating from the late 70′s out of Japan you usually see older Toyotas rocking plates like that. But what probably sticks out most here and I’m sure you all have noticed from the picture is the large “pikachu tail” exhaust or lightning bolt if you will. I thought the only place you could find “boso” styled Honda’s was here in the U.S. but apparently some of the older more retro H series chassis’ out there like to rock the “boso” flava, can’t be mad at them it always looks good in the land of the rising son IMO. Japanese 80′s cars all day! Pretty rare to peep a Honda like this done right in the U.S.

Alternative Transportation

Don’t you just love my random posts? this time its on something that you guys may really not know about. The Ruckus is a simple 49cc scooter that takes you anywhere you want to go on a fraction of the gas that you put in your car to go to work. Its rugged compact design makes it easy to zip around the city with ease, most recently though a company called Bowls LA has started a line of Ruckus upgrade parts you should check em out it will totally change your outlook on these little choppers if you are like me and like to modify every vehicle you own. Check these ones out in the picture above and then go look at a stock one, OMG. Street legal fun in a small package if your too scared to ride a street bike or can’t afford to get one, why not try this micro-crotch rocket, imagine going on a mad camping mission with this backpacking it sick, well not the ones pictured above on street tires but if you know how they are stock they are pretty rugged from the factory. I’m seriously thinking about getting one sometime soon looks like a pretty fun alternative to get around the local parts of town, don’t have to fire up the car so much. Well I hope you guys think these are as sick as I do if not its all good just here to spread my opinion on things.
